Easily can be consumed, put 2 cups of water and 2 TBSP of elderberry into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for about 5 minutes. Finally, strain and stir in 1 tsp of agave.
